SELF-DRIVE
Address: Gate 5, Penton Hook Marina, Staines Road, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 8PY (PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND FIND US AT THE MAIN OFFICE AT GATE 1)
Parking - 1 car per boat hire. Extra cars will be charged £10.
Cancellations or reschedules are only accepted up to 48 hours in advance.
If you have provided all the information on the booking form but do not receive a confirmation, please check your junk folder.
Lead hirer to bring their ID.
£100 damage deposit can be paid in advance via PayPal to or bring cash or credit card on the day.
Boats will be allocated on arrival and are unable to be selected by hirers.
Speed restriction on the river is strictly 5 miles per hour and all our boats are limited.
2 hour bookings are not permitted to pass through locks – area of travel is between Penton Hook Lock and Chertsey Lock ONLY.
4 hour bookings can go through 2 locks up river (ie. Penton Hook Lock and Bell Weir Lock) and one lock down river (ie. Chertsey Lock).
8 hour bookings can travel as far as Boveney Lock upriver and Teddington Lock down river. DO NOT PASS THROUGH BOVENEY LOCK OR TEDDINGTON LOCK.
Babies are welcome - and free if they can't walk.
Dogs - on a lead - are welcome!
Bring your own food and drink.
Life jackets are provided.
No licence or experience is required to drive a boat.
