TERMS & CONDITIONS
Staycations
1. DEFINITIONS -
The company is referred to as ‘Riverscapes’ and the guest will be the name on the booking, who is responsible and liable under this agreement.
2. PAYMENT & DEPOSITS -
Full payment and a £200 security deposit is required (whether this is paid directly or handled through a booking site) before check-in details and access codes are provided. After a satisfactory check-out, the security deposit (if paid directly) will be returned after confirmation of bank/credit card/PayPal details.
3. IDENTIFICATION -
A copy of Government issued identification and proof of address is required for the lead guest on the booking.
4. PERMITTED GUESTS -
Whilst the booking for exclusive use of the boat, only paying guests are permitted entry into the marina/on board and all visitors must obtain advance authorisation, ie. in other words, extra guests/friends/family are not permitted to tag along and enjoy our facilities for the free.
5. PRICE STRUCTURE -
Our price is based on the number of guests on the booking. If 2 guests have booked, the price will be for use of the master cabin only. If these 2 guests wish to have their own cabin, there will be a surcharge to cover the extra cleaning and laundry, ie. whilst the booking is for exclusive use of the boat, not all beds can be used.
6. PONTOONS -
Pontoons are only to transit to/from the boat being used. Trespassing onto other pontoons and looking into other boats is strictly forbidden.
7. NOISE -
No parties or excessive noise is permitted at any time -respect all our neighbours/other boat owners at all times.
8. DRUGS & ALCOHOL -
We have a zero-tolerance policy to drugs or excessive use of alcohol on our boats.
9. BEHAVIOUR -
Unreasonable behaviour will not be tolerated.
10. USE OF OUTSIDE DECKS -
No use of outside decks between 10pm and 8am except to sit quietly and watch the river life go by. All late comings/goings to be exceptionally discreet.
11. WATER ACTIVITIES -
No use of water activities within the marina.
12. TOILETS -
Absolutely no sanitary products, wipes, etc to be flushed down the toilet and excessive toilet paper is to be avoided at all times – a £100 plumbing fee will be charged should a blockage require cleaning.
13. RUBBISH -
Rubbish is to be placed in black bin liners, tied up securely and disposed of in the main marina bins.
14. SMOKING -
No smoking within/inside the boat. Responsible smoking permitted on outside decks only (no burns please). Cigarette ends and ash to be cleared away (not in the river).
15. BBQS -
No BBQs whatsoever to be used on the boat.
16. FISHING -
Fishing is prohibited within the marina.
17. SWIMMING -
No swimming is permitted within the marina.
18. PETS -
No pets allowed on a ‘Staycation’ – they are only welcome on our self-drive day boats.
19. SHOES -
No shoes to be worn inside the boat.
20. CANDLES & CONFETTI -
No use of candles or confetti whatsoever.
21. USE OF FACILITIES -
21a). Wash up all used dishes, cutlery, pots, pans etc before departure.
21b). Respect our property as if it were your own.
Please note: All facilities to be used at our guests’ own risk.
22. CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS -
A 50% refund will be made for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. No refunds will be made for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in. Should we be required to alter bookings due any further COVID-19 restrictions or illness, proof and/or PCR tests will be required before a credit will be given and which can then be used towards a future staycation, cruise, or self-drive option to be used with a year.
23. CHANGE OF SERVICES -
Riverscapes takes steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff, therefore certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. We also reserve the right to change a boat stay (sometimes at very short notice) due to H&S reasons and maintenance issues therefore ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests. Please be assured we will always endeavour to provide a similar boat to the one booked.
BREACHES OF T&Cs MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF YOUR DEPOSIT
